Thornfield floor plan

Although there are probably elements of real buildings incorporated into Charlotte's description of Thornfield (see the Thornfield page), no one has found an actual building that accurately resembles the novel.

It is however possible to analyse the descriptions in the novel and assemble a suitable plan and I have reproduced this below.
